We want to assure you that Creature Comfort continues to operate normally—mostly. All of our services continue to be available, including dog walks, pet sits in your home, overnight care, and boarding, as well as concierge services like shopping and prescription pick-up. However, we are sensitive to concerns about potential transfer of COVID germs. We want to keep your family and our sitters well! Our strategies for handling this have mostly been personalized to the desires of each household we visit; feel free to discuss this with us! (They’ve ranged from “curbside pick-up” of dogs for walks to wearing mask/gloves/booties in your home, hand washing, leash washing, distancing, etc.) We, of course, ask our sitters not to work if they suspect they are sick (and we are not requiring any of our sitters to work at all), and we ask that you warn us away should someone in your household become ill. We’re pleased to say everyone has been quite cooperative so far. Thank you!

Rest assured that if you don’t need us right now or don’t feel comfortable using our services, we will not take offense! We are here ready to serve you whenever you need us. We won’t hold a grudge. Keep in mind that your pet may be a bit, ahem, spoiled after spending 24/7 with you for several months. If we can help ease the transition when you begin to leave the house, let us know. Perhaps a couple of visits a day instead of one or longer walks for a few weeks would help.
